Log Entry #1, Darkside of some planet.

Here I sit, silent and still on the darkside of some planet. I check my equipment in preperation. Another day, another mission, another soon-to-be death. My 'Ghost' and I, we will sneak in during the night. Walk into the settlement, find the man, end it and leave again. No-one will the wiser until after I'm away and in another system. Such is the way my 'Ghost is. My 'Ghost' and I, we travel the void, silent in the inky darkness of space completing wetwork missions for anyone with money, legal or otherwise is of no concern to me. Of course, I don't even know the man I'm being paid to assassinate amd it doesn't matter. I'll be paid well as normal.Here I sit, silent and still on the darkside of some planet. I think about the man that once freed me. A kind and caring old man he was. I haven't seen him since I left to join the Federal Navy. I've been too afraid to see him, so see his face if i told him about the things I've done. I wonder if he'll be proud or if he'll hate me and regret freeing me, thinking I'm a monster like those that set me on this route in life. I couldn't possibly face him and see the sorrow in his eyes. It doesn't make sense though, He's not my father and yet it bothers me so.
Here I sit, silent and still on the darkside of some planet. The settlement enters and I start up the engines of my 'Ghost', the blue flames exploding from the thrusters as I boost towards the planet for my mission.
There I go, loud and active on the darkside of some planet.
