There are no winners in this war other than the manufacturers of ships and escape pods.With a complete lack of pirate activity and hearing the call to arms from both sides in the war; I figured where better than to spend a bit of time. These naval pilots aren't up for much and besides, a laser light show does look so pretty (provided you're not on the receiving end).
Gernhardt station seemed to be a good place to resupply ammo and sort out that hull damage. I must remember to get in touch with the local ship-mechanics unions representative - my sticking-throttle near killed me in that asteroid field earlier and those mechanics should have sorted it long ago!
After a fairly long stint in the conflict zone I returned to Gernhardt to put my feet up in the nearest bar and count my combat bonds (over 2.5Mcr). Whilst it was fairly quiet there I did meet an interesting fellow pilot; though I'm afraid I cannot remember his name - I blame the Lavian Brandy. We had a good long discussion about conflict zones... the main question being who decides where to stage these battles!? I must ask somebody in authority about this ... but who??
