It's been a busy time

It really was busy recently. A Lockdown, followed by a Civil Unrest shook our young, little faction up a fair bit, and we were hard at work to get that resolved. We finally did, and now we're booming again. Good times! But it wasn't only a busy time, it was also pretty lucrative. The Python's pretty much finished now, except that I'm still considering a hull upgrade. And I've come to really enjoy the Bi-Weave shields I have slapped onto the Vulture. It's such a beast, and it served me very well over the last weeks. So did the Python, unsurprisingly I feel a lot safer dragging around 200 tons of gold in the Python than in the T-7.
But now that we've got all that sorted out I think it's time for a little vacation. I've already looked up a destination. The supergiant Mu Cephei, Herschel's Garnet Star. Mu Cephei is one of the bigger and brighter stars in our galaxy and is located around 7000 ly from Sol.
It's been a while since I last was out exploring, aside from my time searching for Barnacles in the Pleiades, and my short trip over to the California Nebula, also to search for Barnacles.
I'm looking forward to spending a couple of days in the Cobra again. I haven't been using it much since the Vulture and the Python took over hunting and trading.
I think next weekend is a good time to head out. Put in one more week of work to strengthen NULL, and then set out on Friday night. Yeah, sounds like a plan.
