Mu Cephei - Half way there

14 Feb 2016Unrealization
It's been a productive journey so far. I have crossed 3000 of 6000 lightyears to my destination, Mu Cephei, and aside from the first 1000 ly, which I decided to skip to get out of the bubble, I didn't just skip systems, but also scanned interesting things here and there.
Just before reaching the North America and Pelican Nebulae I came across the first Water World of this trip, and not too long after leaving those nebulae behind I found the first Earth-like on my road to Mu Cephei.
The sights are great, and I dive down onto many a planet for a closer look at its features, sometimes dive into a crater or canyon for a change of pace. Life's good.
As the stars start thinning out I expect my journey to get harder as I get closer. My little Cobra has a jump-range of 22 lightyears, I've got only enough materials for 3 FSD injections and no SRV to look for more. Well, I guess I'm gonna worry about gaps when I get there.
Do you like it?
