Deep Space Meeting
19 Feb 2016Unrealization
Meeting a friend is always nice. It's especially nice when you are far away from home.My buddy Angus is circumnavigating the galaxy on a mission that will take most if not all of 3302, and maybe even longer, and I am currently on the trip that was supposed to bring me to Mu Cephei. While that mission failed I still have secondary targets in the Bubble Nebula and the Heart and Soul Nebulae.
I found that Angus was near the Bubble Nebula, and after starting up the Cobra last night I noticed he was only about 100 lightyears away. So I plotted a course and headed his way.
We met up, had a bit of a chat nearly 8000 ly from home, and then went on our way. As I had skipped through the Bubble Nebula in order to catch him while he's close I headed back there. I am likely to have a closer look at a couple of planets, in order to look for signs of Barnacles, and then make my way towards the Heart and Soul, before finally turning to head home.
Fly safe, my friend!
