Oh, shiny...

20 Feb 2016Unrealization
As I am making my way from the Bubble Nebula towards the Heart and Soul Nebulae an intriguing line of stars starts to resolve into distinct dots. I've had something like this before, when I made my first trip to the North America Nebula last year. That line of stars ultimately guided me to NGC 7822, Black Hole Paradise.
At the time, before my trip to Sagittarius A*, this was still a pretty long trip for me.
I wonder where this line is gonna take me, and what sights I will find.

But for now I have changed my course not towards that line, but "south", towards NGC 281. It is a bit closer than the Heart and Soul and kinda on the way, except that I need to take a 500 lightyear dive. But what's 500 lightyears?
After NGC 281 I will turn my attention back to the Heart and Soul Nebulae, after which I will investigate that line of stars that is luring me in.

I still have a long road ahead of me, and on the way home I may still visit a few places along the road. It's a good trip, despite my ship not being capable of reaching Mu Cephei, which was the primary target of this expedition.
I'll come back one day.
Do you like it?
