Bad guys 2... My protection services, 0Before heading off on a large scale mining operation I took the time to follow a sight seeing, dinner and dancing, cruise, unofficial protection. After loitering by the barracks for what seemed like an eternity, the Orca finally emerged and headed skyward. I followed. When the Orca captain dropped to take photos I took my leave and headed off to catch up with the mining party. Three jumps out I hear the Orca has been destroyed.
Once I caught up with the mining party I enjoyed several uneventful hours drifting amongst the silent rocks. I offered to escort the miners to the station but they were flying dual purpose ships, all were armed. With most away, I took my leave to head home. A few jumps out and I hear one of the pilots had been jumped by an npc. He made a lot of noise. And then silence. Deaded.
The moral of this tale... If you see me leave, worry!
