Log 03: Stupid Space Whale

The Type-7 looks like someone was trying to build a station but got confused and started bolting random crap to the half baked project before welding on some random cockpit they saw drift by and was like “yeah, that looks like it’s worth 16 million!” Then pawned off the “blueprints” to some random shipyard.Of course, looks aside, it is actually a pretty capable craft once it’s hollowed out for cargo space. Still have no idea why it has guns on it, if you get attacked in that and can’t shift away very quickly you’re gonna die. I’ve gotten stuck using it to get my money back after Nova drained it all with upgrades and the occasional rebuy. The whole thing grosses exactly 300 cargo slots if you just rig it with nothing but a class 3 shield and a bunch of cargo racks (no idea what else you’d put in there) and stick to large hauls over short distances, course if you really want to you could probably get 20ish LY jumps out of it, don’t quote me on that, if you needed to do anything that’s not a Short haul. (like point blank, 5 LY short)
It also doesn’t feel too nice flying, being a giant stupid space whale will do that though, especially so if you never upgrade the thrusters. But I will begrudgingly reccomend it if you need a lot of easy and safe money from haulage.
