We've been to the rim of the Formidine Rift, visited a few of the abandoned settlements there. They are still perfectly preserved despite their age, which also goes for the messages found there. They seem to describe a mission related to the Rift, which failed in the worst possible way. The Rift itself, located between two outer arms of the galaxy, is an empty abyss. It's hard to describe. Stars are thinning out, there is nothing.I already made it back to Heart and Soul. It's back to the Bubble now, though I have a feeling that this wasn't the last time I'll visit the Rift.
