They knew it all along. Usually I don't listen much to the bragging and crazy talk in the bars. Even less when it's about coordinates. Half of them are traps or shady business proposals anyway. But with what is happening in the Pleiades at the moment, I couldn't help checking on this particular information, which led me to a derelict megaship. Scanning for more, I discovered a few bits of data, among those a log from 3172, confirming that the ship was part of some Project "Equinox" which was monitoring signs of Thargoids since shortly after the war. They just vanished and no trace as been found, right?Wrong! The log said that they indeed found Thargoid remains back then, which led to the conclusion that they are planning a return. There was even a hint on a Meta Alloy find! Back in 3175! That's more than a hundred years back! It's not a secret that the Superpowers have their hidden agendas, and I have been to the Formidine Rift mystelf and seen many traces of a conspiracy, but this is a bit more disturbing.

The barnacles and Meta Alloys have never been a surprise to them. The Thargoid structures and now their ships all over the Pleiades. If they knew, why didn't they interfere? Or they did and we just didn't know? Whatever is the story here, it's fishy, and it's us humans that stink, not the Thargoids in this case.
