Mercury on Mercury

Had a nice talk with a chemist at Mars High the other day. He complained about how the spaceship industry uses low quality material for the sake of profit and how much more effective and smooth things could run if it wasn't for those greedy bastards. It should be about progression and development, and not about credits. Well. The guy had at least one Lavian Brandy too much and kept talking and talking... Fortunately he found another victim later and I stole away.
He had a point though. I had to give him that.
So I did some basic research on the web and found out that on-board lab equipment for synthesis isn't that expensive at all. Just uncommon. But the material I would need to profit from it... Some planets are rich with those, and with proper equipment and a little effort I could try to gather them myself.
Meant, I needed some advanced landing equipment, a hangar bay and an SRV. Bought, installed, running. Just came back from a trip to Mercury today and was able to harvest some basic elements like sulfur and iron, but also some germanium and tin. Oh, and mercury! That means I found mercury on Mercury... Well, and that SRV... Did you know that those things have vertical thrusters?
