Oh, almost forgot to post this on the actual new year! It's still considered January 1st on the timescale I am on, but it's a little later based on the Galactic standard time. On the 2nd, but I'll just say that my own personal scale is what works for me, makes more sense to me.I haven't been flying lately, but that doesn't mean I am hanging up my wings after a little time being among the stars. It's more that the holiday season is usually packed and stressful for me. Doesn't mean I've been insanely busy, but it's been filled with many different things. Exchanging of gifts, eating feasts, and resting generally. Not really a time I want to go flying off into Space. Even when it's something I have been doing again.
I do hope this year brings new things. Viewing the stars, and being more willing to land on a planet. Even to just an outpost. Not like I really had a good time before. It just felt slow. But now I see how the planets really look with my new view.
So, my New Years Resolution for space is to do at least a weekly update. Of course to fly, that much is a given. I sort of missed it. Cargo needs to get places, and I swear I will also go out and do some protecting of miners in a resource extraction site. Perhaps I need to warm up the Federal Assault Ship, that should take care of wanted pirates quite well. Shame I can't contact my old flightcrew. They stopped getting paid and went their seperate ways. So my ships in the main port are not being maintained.
I will go back to Skvortsov Orbital soon and check out my ships. I didn't really when I was delivering goods from a nearby station to 63 G. Capricorni when the Diamond Frogs requested help from the galaxy. My new friend does enjoy her job, but she is no longer at Skvortsov Orbital. She has not told me where she went, but she is safe and didn't get in debt again. Not even being an Imperial Slave, she is free.
I almost forgot the most important part! Happy New Year! Here's to the ending of 3303, and hope for a fruitful 3304!

[OOC note: I can now run Elite at max settings, 60fps. Before, I was running nearly lowest and still getting 20fps, and trying to land on a planet was about 10fps if I was lucky. Even landing now is smooth, and flying over planets is smooth. First update after over a year was on my old computer, but the one on the 26th was on my new computer. This is one of the only times I will do an OOC in the log.]
