Why did I feel like entrying 3303? It's 3304, for crying out loud.
Well, I already gave up my resolution, because it's been over a year since I last entered a log entry. I've been busy with other things that don't involve flying, but I did jump back into my cockpit today, and did a bit of flying.

Of course, when I got into my ship, I saw that someone was messing around with my equipment. In my ship's logs, I saw that Jack Nackson Enterprises installed a free upgrade to my data scanner. I never used my Data Scanner. I mean I had it, but I didn't use it. Apparantly I can now scan larger targets, but I don't know what that's all about.

I had to change my ship slightly. I noticed now that I now had access to a new Decal, that of the Diamond Frogs. I immediately got some work done on my ship! Have to look presentable, and let people know my true alegance. But I am back, at least for now.

I decided to see if I at all improved in my combat abilities, and checked the mission board. A mighty pirate named Guybrush Threepwood was causing some trouble in Latorioson. Well, I quickly flew over there, wanting to find the dreadful pirate lord. Well, I forgot one thing. I can't scan systems to find out where they would be hiding.

Yeah, my bad. The Garchomp isn't exactly a ship that I decided to go around scanning the entire galaxy trying to find out where things were. Times are different now, and if I want to be a bounty hunter, I sort of need to now scan the entire system for my target. I of course remedied it, but only gave up some of my hull armor. I mean, armor has saved me in the past, but if I want to hunt down these higher value targets, I would need to give up some things. Like time, armor, ammo that gets pumped into their hulls until they explode.

Well, after I flew to where he was last found after scanning the system, I just mostly stayed in supercruise, looking for him. A couple of times I stopped because I thought someone needed some help. A stranded ship, but I send them a message that I couldn't exactly help at the time, because I didn't have any fuel limpets. But I would stay for a couple of minutes until help would arrive, and it didn't take too long for a ship to show up, and it didn't shoot at him, so I left.
Another time, the ship detected weapons fire, so I jumped into that, and found a Federal ship being fired upon by two pirates! I shot them down, and the officer did thank me for the help, but they were not my target. I did get some credits for the bounty those two had on them, but it wasn't nearly as much as my bounty on Guybrush Threepwood.

I then got another alert, and that was that another ship was being fired upon and being pilfered, the distress signal sort of calling me to it. I jumped into that signal, and there I saw a ship with flames dancing upon it, a SOS signal being broadcast, and there was a Cobra Mk. III that immediately saw me, and set their sights on me. I switched to my Kill Warrant Scanner, having a few extra credits for helping this poor soul would have been a great boon. But I didn't need to even scan to know that this would be a good influx into my bank account. Not a massive injection, but a fair enough for a quick milk run.

Guybrush Threepwood, the mighty pirate was shooting upon these poor cargo haulers. I immediately sent him a message, letting my beam lasers take out his shields, and my multicannons started to damage his hull after the shields were gone. No words, just action. Soon, he shouted at me to stop through the broadcast, but the damage was done. He even let out some of his cargo as sort of a barganing chip. It wasn't my duty. It was just business, after all. His ship blew up, and I turned towards the stranded ship, who thought I was there to destroy him and clean up.

I sent them a message saying I was there to help, and to also destroy Guybrush Threepwood as I had a bounty for his head. I could stay there until the federals could show up to give a hand, but it wasn't exactly why I was in the system.

I waited around for a while, and immediately Federal Security scanned me, and then thanked me for my service. I mean, I am an Ensign in the Federal Navy. I just am not a member of the active military, but of course being in a Federal Assault Ship would make me look more like an acting member of the navy. They told me they had things under control now and that I could go on my day, and just me staying there helped morale of the crippled ship, even if they were low on oxygen and there wasn't anything I could do to help. I really hope that he was saved, but without anything to help him with, that would be a problem.

I jumped back to where I got my bounty, and took my paycheque. Then came to write this log. It was a small adventure, nothing serious, but it was still a small journey.
