I haven't played Elite in any of its forms since August 2021. It was very easy to put down and I felt no urge to pick it up and play it anymore. After 5000+ hours, all the joy and novelty in the game has been sucked dry and I will not be returning. I haven't been maintaining this profile since then and I will continue to not maintain it. If you are docked on my fleet carrier please be aware that it will, at some point, be decommissioned.

I bear neither the community nor this site any ill will, they were the reason I stuck around as long as I did. The management at FD is out of touch and their outright refusal to even consider listening to their playerbase is so infuriating that it begs the question "why stay around at all?"

The answer is, "I'm not."

They refuse to learn and the game itself is a chore.
