Once again the Siren Song of Deep Space has drawn me out of my protective comfort zone to ply my way across the void. I sold the Cobra IV to purchase an Asp Explorer with some basic exploration kit and had a look around the map for some interesting destinations. I have to say that this time I have indeed learned from previous foolish upgrades and have made absolutely certain that funds to pay any insurance costs relating to lost ships are available with plenty to spare.Rather than embarking on a trip to Sagittarius A* however, I noticed to the galactic west (ish) of the Bubble are several nebulae within reasonable travelling distance. I've never visited the North America Nebula before and at a little under 1900LY from Okinura it made for the perfect first stop on a Nebula Tour of the region. However as I got closer I realised that the Pelican Nebula is actually right next to it so I've altered course and will be visiting that one first. There are some stars inside the Pelican so I've set a course. Here's hoping there are some worlds on which I am able to land...
