Some Impressive Results.

A couple of nights ago I took the Hrafnkel from Okinura's Bennett Gateway and made the run to the Deciat system to see Felicity. I'd built up another couple of dozen or so systems' worth of exploration data so I decided to hand it in to Felicity. This improved my standing with her to the point that she recommended to me a fourth Engineer. I can't remember the engineer's name but I do recall that their specialty is mines and missiles. While not part of my usual kit-list it might still be a good idea to cash in the Federation bounty vouchers requested to unlock access. According to the system I've already done five which leaves forty five to go.Using the modular terminals found a few days ago I've managed to gain some Third Tier upgrades on my FSD. I've gone for increased range and have managed to get the Hrafnkel's FSD range up to just under 20LY. There's a fair ways to go before I can call the upgrades to the FSD complete but it's getting there.
While on my way back to Okinura to collect my Cobra and put the Hrafnkel back into its berth, I was interdicted by a Cobra MkIII. It was the first occasion I've had to use the new cannon I purchased for the ship to give me reason to go see Tod McQuin and I have to say I was suitably impressed at the results. One salvo dropped the hull of the Cobra from 100% down to 50%. I'm very glad I picked it up - and that hasn't even been upgraded yet!
