Headed for the Core.

19 Nov 2016NickTheGrey
The last time I was out at Jaques I made a run for the Galactic Core. I found a star system with 94 astronomical objects in it - the most densely populated system I'd ever seen. I mapped it and moved on toward the Core, planning to return and sell my exploration data. Not long after I scanned the system, the ship I was in at the time - an Asp Explorer - suffered a catastrophic explosion that destroyed the ship and saw me returned to Jaques station with all my data flushed.

Now that I'm out this way again, I've located that system and have come out to recover that data. Luckily, no other commanders have been to the system and sold the data yet. And now, after a couple of hours I've all but completed the task. I've also bookmarked the location of a Black Hole a little over 23LY away that I'm going to revisit and scan. Then it's back on my way to the Core. I expect to reach it in just a few days.
