Working out of Okinura

For the past three or four days I've been operating mainly out of Fisher Terminal, in the Okinura system. I don't usually make a point of taking part in the galactic "Community Goals" scene but something about the two currently taking place in that system caught my attention. The first was sourcing cargo, pure and simple. The second - bounty hunting - started off as a bonus more than anything else.While the ship isn't really kitted out for combat I prefer to avoid fighting if I can. Of course, that's not always possible in my daily routine. My first two trips into the system saw me being interdicted and attacked each time so I signed up for the second Goal as well. As of this log entry, I've transported just over 1000T of polymers and cashed in a little over 138,000Cr worth of combat bonds. Even if the Goals ended tomorrow (they won't, they both have quite a ways to go yet) I'm looking to earn at least 2.4M Cr for both Goals.
I haven't stuck with the Diamondback Explorer for these Goals. I've instead gone for a Cobra MkIV which has been upgraded to carry 68T of cargo. I'm also experimenting now with cannons on the ship to help with those pesky Wanted vessels. It's an adjustment for me but one I think I'll get used to.
When the Goals have finished later in the week I've a feeling I'll end up selling the Cobra and using my payout toward an Asp Explorer if it'll stretch that far. If not there's always the Diamondback to go back to and a bit more exploring.
