Mapping the Running Man Nebula.

Have been exploring the closely-packed cluster of stars located just outside the Running Man Nebula for the past few days. Was just about to call it last night when I entered a system that contained 36 astronomical objects. Decided to hit the sack and start early this morning. I set a course for a nearby snow-moon orbiting a ringed planet and found a nice spot to touch down for the night. As I would say is typical for most explorers, I couldn't resist a quick sortie in the SRV to check out the surrounding landscape. It's always been strange to me that the vastness of open space seems less desolate and empty than the surface of a planet upon which I'm the only living being.
Bit of a shock rude awakening this morning - the internal fire suppression systems kicked in and set off several alarms on board. Not sure how but the ship's computer glitched and the food dispenser cremated my breakfast. I'm not keen on the idea of resetting the ship's computer while I'm this far out but if this kind of thing keeps happening I might need to.
Current plan as it stands is to remain in the area for perhaps another four to six weeks, scanning complete systems (now that I'm here) and then moving on. I've set an economical flight plan to a system about 30LY away which means I should visit a good number of systems along the way. I'm not going to visit all of the stars in this cluster but I'm going to do a good spread of them. I still want to make it beyond to Barnard's Loop and see what's out there.
