Stepping out of Character: Life Support Systems.

It's been a busy few weeks in Real Life Land recently. I've played when I can and have actually (so far) done very well in the two Community Goals in the Phiagre system. I've modified the ship for both Bounty Hunting in RES Zones and carrying a modest amount of cargo so I can switch between the two Goals with relative ease. Right now it looks like a combined payout of around 8MCr when both Goals end.To the point of this log entry.
I was travelling in to the system over the weekend to deliver some Titanium when I was interdicted by an Anaconda. I drive an Asp Explorer these days so I usually run from the bigger ships but this one had no shields. I decided I would give this fool the bloodiest nose I could...
To cut a long story short, I destroyed the Anaconda completely but ended up with 6% hull remaining, a broken cockpit and five minutes to get back to safety. I set course for the nearest station (a Coriolis type) and was able to make it inside the environment bubble with one second to spare. I was so thrilled to have made it that I didn't think to take a screenshot. So it remains a story without proof but I think an entertaining one.
But I digress. I've never installed better than stock Life Support Systems before but rest assured from now on I'll be buying the best that I can!
