Visiting Sol

Being excited to have earned my Sol Permit, I decided to pay a visit to our home system.I thought to be quite far from it, but soon realized that my perception of distances was pretty wrong. I found out Deneb Algedi is "only" around 38 ly from Sol and having recently understood how to trace routes using my full FSD power, that meant only 2 jumps from my base at Burke Port!
After the quick trip I felt the warm sun through my cockpit and wondered where to go first... easy-pick: Earth.
I chose to land in the Abraham Lincoln Station as my first stop. I felt a little disappointed by it... I was expecting the Federation to give huge importance and big resonance to our birthplace, but it all looked like any other station out there. The fact that it was orbiting "that very famous Earth" was ignored as a feature and nobody seemed to care.
The market too let me down having just a few of the modules or the commodities I was expecting. Maybe I just picked the wrong first stop and other stations here were better choices.
I plan to visit Mars next time, but first I'll carefully check the markets of every station around Earth and Moon. I want a souvenir!
