3302.01.15Fine Ring Sector JH-V c2-4 / Orbiting Planet A1: Base Camp Laika's Rest
Though I am in a solo wing, I do it without any regrets nor any sense of loneliness as I maintain contact with the main fleet and I've already waved to a couple of my fellow pilots as they entered this sector. Still, I can understand why people might find this to be a lonely endeavor.
I've charted a few worlds on my way to Laika's Rest. Mostly rocky barren planets, which I expected but information is information. I'm keeping my eye out for Earthlike planets, especially one with a ring as that may become an excellent find!
I'm orbiting over Planet A1 of Fine Ring Sector JH-V c2-4 as planned. The air is comfortable, not too warm and not too cold. I had to look over my modules because of some minor heat damage but everything is in order. Sometime this weekend I will begin scouting the surrounding sectors of space to get some pictures. For now, I need some rest.
