I went into assisting the Empire as simply a way to make a quick credit - it's not every day I'm less than 200Ly from major campaigns like the one that was being hosted in the Morai system. However, I didn't expect to learn so much about the Empire and its underlying philosophies from all the local pilots that not only were supporting their campaign in Morai, but providing a lot of protection for ships large and small, regardless of their allegiance. I walked away a little over 130 million credits richer - more money than I've ever received during my time in Federation space - but I also left Morai with the desire to learn more about the Empire... and maybe relocate my operations here for the time being to experience the differences between it and the Federation.
