The path reveals itself?

We all finally met up. I'm pretty pleased that I leaned on my guys to get their rating high enough to get into Shinrarta and at least alleviate us of looking over our shoulder every waking moment. After a bit of carousing as a reunion we sat down and put our heads together. The money, the books, "retirement", what did it all mean? Well, one of the smarter guys, 'Husque', put something together, not all the books were first editions, some were different revisions. So, like, if you took the combined additions or subtractions, which were mostly complete sentences or paragraphs, you ended up with a jumble, that when put together properly, outlined a charter of directives not unlike ours back at the unit. A loose organizational mission statement with vagueness befitting a group of clandestine corporate operatives. There was one really clear delineation that separated the two -this new one asserted that unit members should establish a foothold in deep space. Well, let me read the difference exactly, "...to make manifest the corporate ethos far beyond the reach of normal governmental or corporate influence via the establishment of a far-reaching colony". That's pretty fucking cut-and-dry. Isn't it? After we sussed all this out our ops guy, 'Sleaze', did some quick number crunching and it turned out that our collective pool of money was enough to outfit a small fleet. Invested properly it was definitely enough to get a few carrier groups going. That would be more than needed to carve a foothold out of the deep black.
The question we all have reckon with though, over the next couple days in a bacchanalian fashion, is if the 242 is ready to stand back up and take that step.
