Promotion! The Pilot's Federation granted me the rank of Dangerous for my combat skills against the Thargoids overnight. I took the opportunity to buy and outfit a new Krait MkII explicitly for hunting Thargoid Scouts. Her name? The Meta-Alloy Ridley, after an ancient gaming character from the dawn of the information age.
My next goal? Deadly, and then Elite. For once, it feels like an obtainable goal.
Not only that, but I will be doing my part as the Distant Worlds II Expedition prepares to leave. Over 6,000 now. Almost 7K. Someone needs to stay behind and defend the core systems. This bubble will not pop!
For the moment, I'll be shredding the Thargs in the Pleiades. Not ready for interceptors, but I am finally doing some hardcore damage to the scouts.
It begins.
