An accidental savior.

Got the itch to go star hopping today. Picked a system at random and powered up the FSD. When I dropped into Synuefe BT-F d12-47, I didn't expect much. Though a couple planets didn't have scans so I figured, why not. Close to Deorii at around 65Ly away, I figured it would be already scanned and catalogued.
Scans picked up signals from what looked like ship wreckage, and also a possible distress beacon not far apart from each other. The wreckage was closest to me from my orbital position so I hastened down to the surface. No surprise to not see much at all but some hull panels and what looks like a few cargo pods.
After sifting through the wreckage, I almost tripped over what I though was another piece of cargo pod or scrap metal. Turns out it was an active escape pod! After such a find, I made haste to the distress signal, hoping to find another survivor, or at least the rest of the ship. This is definitely now how I saw the day going.
After securing the pod in my the rover I quickly called in my ship and got them on board. After connecting them to the ships axillary system, it seems their vitals are stable and should be OK long enough until we can make port again.
