LOG: EXPLORATION #1; THE VOID
16 Apr 2018Suts
I've made it over 10KLyr away from home, and I've gathered lots of valuable data, visited black holes and nebula. So far, this trip has been a huge success and I'm on my last, long leg to Colonia. Alas, I feel my sanity begin to slip.Staring into the vacuous Cygni-X1, how it bends light itself, it makes a man realise how truly insignificant they are. Being out here, and realising just how little our struggles matter in all of this, it's beginning to have it's effect on me.
I struggle to sleep, I swear I hear voices and shapes begin to take shape as I look out of my cockpit. All I can do is keep on going, and try my hardest to keep my head on straight. I wont let myself go mad out here, not to let my awe turn into fear and paranoia. Good job i've brought so much tea with me, hah.
I reckon it's only a couple more days of hard work before I reach Colonia, before seeing people again. That will do me some good, and will keep me going out here.
