OK, I'm in real hot water here.
Apparently someone from the Palin Institute got a hold̷͔̔̏̎̚ of my last më̷ssage and must have ta̴͇͆͒͝ken it to his or her̷̰̊ superiors. Now the institute is threatening̸͉͗̾͆ to̵͉̠̠̰̜͐̓͂ take legal action against Aegis for libel and for unḓ̴̼̉ermining the Palin establish̶͕̳͔̜͒me̵͙̻̼͍̽͘nt.
So now I'm under investigation for everything from overdue library books to financiaḽ̷͒ fraud. My quarters have been searched, all my network data has been cop̶̈́́ied and saved, and all my communications are being monitored. M̵̡̟̌͜y colleagues have tried to be supportive through all of this, and Aegis itself has done a surprisingly good job of ke̶͖̟̎̀eping this whole thing under wrap̶̺̯̅̏̕͜s.
That being said, I've been rel̸̏̋ieve̶͛̈́d of my duties ä̸̭͉́̽nd s̷͔̹̋̍͑͂͂use̵̞̠̋͗͐pnded until furth̵̙̥́̈́er notice̵̢͕̓ pending further inquiries.
I'l̸͛̎l... I don't know what's going to hap̴̑pen. I can't afford to loose this job. I have no where else to go if they send m̴̦̮̪̍̂͋ḛ̸̻͐́ off the Acropolis. All the Thargoid research is going on in the Pleiades sector, but I doubt I can afford the trip out to Maia, not to mention the station accommodation rent. Of course, that's assuming I even get a job over there. Getting fired from Aegis doesn't exactly shine on a resume...
What if they decide to go ahead and press charges?
