It is time. I have re-equipped ISS Jonai Star a week ago and made a short journey to Maia, 461 LY away from Jonai in the centre of the Pleiades Nebula.I fancied discovery all the time, even when I fought in Lugh, in CD-52 187, Wolf 906 and Jonai. All the time I wondered what I would find in the depth of space.
I'm desillusioned, to be honest. Once more, hunting criminals and fighting for yet another master for credits feels hollow. Why haven't I set off then already? I don't know - indecisiveness and the greed for more money. The hope to get enough to by that Anaconda I wanted so long. That real ship. But Even now, when I got the funds together to makke it happen, I don't want to sell all my other ships only to put all eggs into that one basked - Anaconda and Exploration. Desillusioned too, as since a couple of weeks, the Wolves have a bounty on my head for that one accidental kill in the belt. They still hunt me and simply don't drop the charges - no matter what I do for them, how much I killed in their name for their goals. I need a change.
That realization made it now - I will leave and will see how far I come.
My target is the IC 1805 Sector DQ-Y E3 body that I found by chance when browsing idly in the star charts. 6234 LY away from Jonai it is just a galactic hop, but nonetheless a huge distance. Realizing that, made me finally understand too, that there still is enough out there to be discovered.
My way from Jonai will lead me below Polaris, about 500 LY right of the California Nebula.
First stop LBN 623 Sector JH-V C2-24.
