Entry 0: New squadron, New Start

I have been flying for four years and have not written one log thus far. I have always been too busy chasing my next payday. I figured now, as I am transferring to the Dalagritu system, why not now? It is here in Dalagritu that my people have been congregating since being sold into imperial slavery to pay for war debts. We will never be able to reestablish in Avalon, so here will have to do. That said, it is not too bad, the system is well developed, and there are no superpowers nearby to interfere with our operations as we build ourselves a new home. I expect to be quickly put to work in the area, building up my reputation with various factions to sway the politics in each system. Already we have consolidated control of Dalagritu, and there is an ongoing election to take a port in a neighboring system. Before I had been working for credits and infamy, but here I am working for something greater, and I cannot wait to contribute to a new home for my people after all these years.
