Entry 2: The Guardian Expidition

The The Thargoid menace gives us all uncertainty, they have ravaged many systems in the past, and it is not unlikely that they will do so more in the future. Although we are attempting to establish some sort of communication and diplomacy with the Thargoids, it is not out of question that Dalagritu may become a target of their incursions in the future. In the event of an incursion, our squadron must be ready. I have all the required ships and modules to do my part, but not everyone does. In order to change that, CMDR Wil4me has organized an expedition to guardian space in order to ensure all our faction has access to Guardian tech, as well as tap into the pristine resources so far out into the black.I may have all the essentials for Thargoid hunting, but I do not have a fighter. My first order of business is to acquire the data and materials for at least one of the Guardian fighters, though I may not end up using it. The power of a rail gun like weapon on a fighter is nonetheless a great asset to have.
There are also pristine rings out here to mine, tapped into at most once or twice, unlike the reserves back in the bubble. This presents a unique opportunity to get more credits, hopefully leading to a fleet carrier of my own. If I were able to acquire one, it would serve as a warehouse for rarer commodities for the squadron, and a launch pad for operations into various systems. I do worry about the upkeep costs of keeping a carrier, but I will try to keep it cheap.
I do not know how long we plan on being out here, so I must make the most of it out here in the black, where I can extract resources without another ship for light years, other than our squadron's.
