Journey to Omega Nebula- Log 7: WOW!!

03 May 2018Ingrid Elfridr
Reached the Omega Nebula just a few hours ago, and it was one rewarding trip. I finally got the kinks worked out on the orbital cam, seems it got a bit messed up when I got an earlier shot of a violent solar storm while refueling. Why didn't I think about firing a repair limpet at the thing sooner?

The view here is incredible. Took a few shots from more contrasted areas of the nebula.  Right now I'm sitting on a small ice world while waiting on coffee, and it looks like the sky has been lit ablaze. It's seeing beauty like this that doesn't obey our rules of physics that makes exploration so fun for me. That and I can easily avoid getting dragged into political games of scruples.

Finished filing my exploration report and sent it to everyone else in the wing. Seems Breez is working on acquiring an Anaconda so that we can bounty hunt when I get back from Colonia space. Have at it, I told her. She has at least a couple of months to work on putting the credits together.

At any rate, I have just plotted a course for Ratraii (I believe I may have misspelled this on an earlier entry), and the nav computer has so many densely packed systems to sort through that it is taking a few minutes. As long as this thing doesn't explode I will be happy.

550 jumps to Ratraii. It will give me a great opportunity to accumulate more than a few new discoveries and turn in my data before I make a trip to Sag. A. I wonder if anyone has installed those pay-per-minute binoculars yet.
Do you like it?
