Lesson Learned: No rock jumping with the Albatross D.ii.

First of all, gotta give credit to the Rescue Rangers. Solid group of pilots.Second, 3kLy from the Bubble, heading to Beagle in the Albatross, tried rock hopping to find some more genomics. Slight malfunction in the thrusters, pancaked. Rebuy. Glad it happened now and not a few weeks when I'm on the wrong side of the core, but still; it hurts.
The rebought Albatross is working extremely well though; no issues so far. 5 planetary landings with no damage, which is pretty good considering that Vulture doesn't have shields. Made it the 4kLy to the Gangari, refueled her up, and sent her on her way again. About 2.5kLy from the meetup system in 5 days. Interesting to see how many folks bow out of Beagle Madness before then.
Good to be back in the Black, even if it's in a silly idea of a ship like the Vulture.
