Colonia, Day 03
Small summary while waiting for the Abraxas loadout to be restored...I had to replace some modules to mount a Limpet Hatch Breaker Controller, two Limpet Collector Controller and two cargo racks in order to recover the Occupied Escape Pods to give to Etienne.
Thanks to the FSD supercharging process I managed to reach Cologne in a couple of days, it was much easier than I thought managing the charge of the FSD inside the jet cone of the netron stars. Positive side, fast travel and few jumps, negative side, less data to sell...I should be more careful in the future when I manually plan a jump, I almost ended up swallowed by a black hole instead of pointing to a neutron star.
Small discovery I made about the galaxy map auto route: if you want an efficient route using the jet cone boost, plan it manually because the auto route will try to make you jump on a fuel star every two FSD supercharged jumps. Since the 4C fuel tank of the Abraxas allows me to make three jumps at the maximum range and a fourth jump at half the distance, I found the ideal balance by making three FSD supercharged jumps between neutron stars and the fourth FSD supercharged jump towards a fuel star. With this method I can ideally reach about 1000 ly with four FSD supercharged jumps. To further optimize the distance traveled, the ideal would be to find a scoopable star in the neutron star system (but not too far from the main star) in order to avoid the jump to the fuel star and continue jumping to neutron stars.
Given that the journey to Colonia and the unlock / reputation gain process for Etienne took much less time than expected, I decided to go back to the Bubble avoiding the FSD supercharge process.
