Learn to fly. Again.

15 Dec 2019[Dax]
I needed something to do.
My life has totally changed over the three last months and those changes did prevent me from flying. But I'm here again and I need something easy to begin with.
I'm not sure if I can fly at all, after such a long break away from the ship controls. And my right arm is still not good.

I heard rumours about some strange things near the Galactic Core, called "Void Hearts". So... Why not to go and see for yourself? Relaxing trip to see the beauty, what can go wrong? Where is it?.. Shrogaae KK-A d983.

21272 LY.
Route plot failed.
Ummm.
A bit too relaxing, I guess.

OK, let's add some thrill and plot a neutron highway there... 80-sh jumps. That's better.
Repair, refuel, restock, request to depart.

Almost immediately it turned out that my hands remember what they need to do and where all these buttons and switches are. Good sign. But I'm still not very good at precise control. Everything is fine, I’ll get used to it. I hope.

The trip was indeed relaxing and quiet.
And Void Hearts are amazingly wonderful.

The back leg of the trip I decided to take in a mixed way - just using the standard route plotter of my ship with neutron boost enabled. And I wanted to see more, so I used the Codex to seek for another living species on my way. I've seen pumpkins, mollusks and even faced the Lagrange Storm once...
I've seen the marvels of the Universe!

One jump from the Jackson's Lighthouse and I'm home.

I've returned with almost a million credits in Codex discoveries and with about a hundred of millions in exploration data - not so bad for such a short trip.
I have discovered several Water Worlds, but no ELWs this time. I did not seek for them though.
Do you like it?
