Something went wrong with my systems. One moment I was seeing out the end of 3301, and there was a flash in the system I just jumped into.

I woke with a fuzzy head and my systems in standby mode and barely any power. My console was covered in frost and the date ... if it is correct, then I have been out for almost five months. I don't know if it is a precursor to a Thargoid invasion. Or have the Thargoids attacked? I need to get to a system to find the news.

Maybe a prototype weapon has been used. whatever the reason, I need to find out what has been happening, so i am headed for the Bonitou system. According to my charts, it's the closest system to where I am.
