Carrier Woes

Finally bought my carrier after I came across a large sum of money or two in the past month, and it's been a rollercoaster of emotions. It's day 3. I'm at LHS 28 with all my ships docked ready to go on another blasted voyage to collect materials. It's raw materials today. Yesterday I was at Dav's Hope driving around endlessly, but I managed. In a way it's therapeutic. You learn the corners of the track like it's a racecourse. Because it is, in a way, a race. I ain't got time to be there, wasting away collecting garbage that I don't even really need yet.
10 minutes ago I was waiting for my carrier to make my first of 3 or 4 jumps to HIP 36601. But then what happens, "Unknown failure, jump aborted." What the fuck? I waited for 15 minutes for my carrier to tell me it can't make the jump? Why the fuck not? It just spits out a generic error message and now I'm waiting another 20 minutes. When this began, I didn't even realise it would be almost an hour for me to make the trip. I could get out and run faster than this. And now it's making me wait another goddamn 20 minutes.
I ain't got time for this.
