Carrier vs Commander

Today's the day my carrier turned against me. It was like a dog deciding it wanted a bit of adventure, like it listened to half of a command and ignored the rest in favour of its own fun. I set the carrier to jump, realised I'd made an error, and told the carrier to not jump. Except, like a dog, the carrier decided not to sit still. It was going to jump whether I wanted it to or not. The reason I wanted to jump was because I was running an errand to the outfitters and realised I wouldn't have enough time to get back. The carrier didn't care.
To make matters worse, on the way to the outfitters, the station I was aiming for turned out to be on a planet, which would lose me more time in my race back to the Scoundrel. Worse again, I'd soon come to realise that the planet was high gravity, and for this little activity I'd chosen one of the very few ships I own without an auto-docker.
Needless to say, the Scoundrel left me in the dark, and I'm none too pleased with this turn of events.
