Been in Elite since the beginning. And it took me this long to become 5 Elite.
In the beginning I was never all that sure if I even liked it and one day I remember looking at my play time and it was at 300 hours more or less and I said to myself, WTF did I do in those 300 hours?
BUGGER all was the answer.
I was totally directionless in every aspect of the game, no goal, no "personal narrative" to speak of, I wasn't upgrading my ship (yes singular I had only one at the time
) I wasn't even aware of what was good or bad, where to go what to do, I would hop about taking random missions with no expectation and with no real pay off. It was all about getting money. So I voiced my frustration on the steam forums at the game being boring or what not etc etc... nonsense really just born out of frustration.A decent chap with a lot more hours DM'd me, offered some advice and direction.
Many years later... indeed 3000 hours in the game later...
I'm still here. 5 elite now.
And I have done just about everything there is to do.
And I will be back 2moro
