So right now I'm concerned I might not make it to Jaques before the event ends. In the description it stipulates that when the final goal is met the event will terminate immediately. If I can keep up the pace I expect to arrive sometime between Saturday 06 AUG 3302 and Sunday 07 AUG 3302. It appears that participation and/or deliveries are accelerating, and the goal will be done very soon. Tier 6 of 8 will most likely be reached on 04 AUG 3302 if participation continues.
At the time of writing I'm currently 12,992.25LY from Jaques. I never expected to travel this far honestly, but the journey has been interesting, as has chatting with other commanders on QuakeNet IRC (#Elite-Dangerous). I've also gotten quite a bit of Netflix watching done
At least the good news is that when I make the return trip from Jaques it won't take as long as getting there, with the increased jump range from not lugging around 108T of cargo.
