I finally decided to get myself a new ship! I've been flying "Basic Discovery" pretty much since I left home, and as much as I love that ship, it has its limits. So I took on a load of data deliveries and cargo delivery jobs, just like the old days and got together some credits for a Diamondback Explorer. I'm heading over to the BRIDI system now to pick it up.Edit:
Well that was an experience. I took the new ship out for a test run, this is nothing like flying "Basic Discovery". The thrusters on this thing are so slow to respond, I almost smashed into the deck coming back to dock. On the plus side it is a little easier to control at slower speeds. I've named her"hose fly", she may not be a fast or pretty ship but she certainly has a bite!
