Reaper Squadron has been set up at Ray Gateway in Diaguandri for two weeks now.Their economy is doing well, however the nearby Agricultural system of Balante has been plagued by civil war and piracy. This has had profound effects on Ray's ability to source sufficient food for its residents.
We had been asked to help cull the pirate threat in Balante.
When we first arrived they had quite a foothold. We had to take down several cruisers, Anacondas and Pythons and the like. High bounties too... wanted in other systems. Real bad people.
After two weeks of constant patrolling, I am weary of fighting, but their numbers seem to be dwindling. A few light fighters and smuggling craft here and there, but the major foothold they had has been shaken.
Food is flowing more freely from Balante to Diaguandri once again.
We will likely stay stationed here for a little while longer, though at present we are planning an expedition to the Orion Nebula. Still have some work to do on Odysseus before then.
