Raven is recovering as expected. We don't want to chance another sortie with a partial wing, so while we wait for repairs I decided to pay Helena a visit.
She knows I'm technically AWOL from the Federal Navy. It was 12 years ago now, though, and I've done a lot of work for them since.
The deal we struck, and her position within the Federation, means that after the debris clears so too will my AWOL status.
My other demand was a Sol permit. Kira has been fascinated with the Cradle of Humanity lately and Dad has ways wanted to make the pilgrimage.
It takes a few weeks but she put in the request. By the time this is over my Sol permit will be issued.
It'll be nice to have a vacation after all this fighting. Orion Nebula will have to wait.
