Responded to a request for protection for Commanders bringing materials out to Thargoid space to build a military outpost. Pretty standard. A few greedy pilots with heads too big for their helmets who aren't going to bother anybody anymore.
While I was there I came across a Gordon class, looked like it had been hit hard by Thargoids. Distress signals were making my HUD light up like fireworks. Spent the rest of the day ferrying escape pods and rescuing trapped crew members.
The horrible things I saw today... I think its time I kit out a Thargoid killer.
