Thought I'd go out looking for volcanic activity. I've never discovered any new vents or geysers, I've only seen the ones I've taken sightseers to.

I still haven't found any, but I have been reminded of the risks of exploring high gravity worlds.

News from home? I heard a report through the Inara Network that Sharon Lee Free Market has been UA bombed. But GalNet is not reporting it. A prank then? Or is GalNet covering this up for some reason? I hope my friends there are OK, not to mention my ships.

Just got in my ship to find rended metal floating about. If it was one of us, no one has owned up to it.

Our meetings are usually organised by CMDR Nagi, who couldn't make it this time. I fitted a new camera system last night (hence the improved photos), so I volunteered to record the mass jump.

Even with an expedition around you, exploration can get a little wearing. So thank the far god (kidding) for telepresence. Fighter Club were kind enough to invite me into their ships and let me fly their fighters. Made about a million helping with their bounty hunting, probably would have been more if we'd been able to wing up. It's the 34th Century, you'd think we'd be past such silly design oversights by now. But never mind, if it was about the money I'd have been much better off just scanning some more planets.

Shame the video didn't come out because it was quite the exciting ride down this cliff in my Scarab. Until I hit a rock and exploded.

Loved the views in this tertiary system.

It was pretty much en route so I took a detour to the Monkey's Head. I found it a little underwhelming if I'm honest, no wonder it wasn't on the itinerary.

I have to hold up my hands and admit that this waterworld is not a new discovery. I think all the others I've photographed since Thor's Helmet all have been. The red and white blobs are just distant galaxies, but the little green one is our next destination, the crab nebula. Green due to methane was it? I forget. Sometimes I feel a fraud piloting a science vessel like this one. There are rumours of thargoids in the crab nebula, but Canonn say that they are untrue. They're probably right even though the thargoids do seem drawn to methane. I have my xeno scanner now, so I actually hope we do see some aliens.

I just love seeing Barnard's Loop in the distance with the milky way as a backdrop. To think, five months ago I hadn't even left Orerre.

Crab Pulsar. Had to come here before the waypoint. Seems like one CMDR Axis Mundi already explored the nebula, probably years ago.

Safe and sound(ish) in Station X now. Bit of a rough system again but this ship is pretty nimble.
