Back in the pilot seat

It's been a few years since the daily wear-and-tear has put me off of being a pilot, and into other endeavors. But even if I stopped piloting, I've kept in touch with it, and lately, I've been feeling the itch to come back more and more.So after dusting off my gear and re-tuning my ship controls, I find myself back in my trusty ASP's pilot seat. Oh boy, this is such a nice feeling! I know why I started flying in the first place! I also found, to my great surprise, that I had about 1.4 billion credits in my pilot account. Wow! I thought I had just a few hundred millions. Feels good to have some financial leeway.
Anyway, finding out where and why my other ships were, how were they kitted, and where I should go next, was confusing at first. But I thought whatever I'm going to do, one of those fancy FSD boosters was a no-brainer to get. So off to a guardian site I'm gone.
After some preparations, including sketching a map, off to SYNUEFE NL-N C23-4, planet B3 I go.
I struggle with activating the pylons. The whole thing keeps resetting, and I start to get irritated. So I ask a fellow commander over the intercom. Ah yes, it didn't register to me that I need to KEEP SHOOTING until they completely light up. No other issues, other than my SRV getting flipped over when hit by sentinel rockets; I have a point defense turret on my DBX, but some rockets still get through. It seems the pilots who recommended getting two PD turrets were not wrong.
With the FSD booster out of the way, it seems doing some engineering is inevitable, so off I go.
