Today was a great day. I'm finally doing my long-awaited trip. My plotting computer started working again and I found an optimal route. It estimated that I'd get over 35 million credits of data! Absolutely amazing! Before lunch I did install a new assisstance, it's called a Data Interface. She, it has a female voice, connects me to the market and brings me loads of information. It's a fine addition to my other voice compute, Victor. He's already pretty good, but he was a bit insensitive. I have to think of a name for her, I can't simply call her Data Interface. And I was right about the officer yesterday! I had a talk with him and he said he'd give me a badge for my good work. 10 badges to go, and I'll be an honorous successor, not like that shithole sitting in that dirty prison ship.
After lunch, my journey began. Again. I found some pretty beautiful planets. And some terrifying. As I landed on a moon, I noticed the huge, enormous other moon only about 0.2 lightseconds away. The gravity had ripped of the surface of both and there were huge rifts on the floor. Truly terrifying. I managed to get my shields down to 32% as I'll did a hyperspace jump only fourteen kilometres above the surface. It nearly ripped my ship apart. I think I already own over 2 million credits, if I had the data already turned in.
I also met a lonely pilot in an Imperial Courier, and he was quite baffled that he would meet someone out here. I'm still in inhabited space though. However I missed the feeling of being alone in those dark, sinister regions of this big, gigantic galaxy, whose stars won't all be discovered ever.
That's what I call beauty,..hail the empress.
