As I woke up, I was already prepared to fight for the empire like a real patriot. But I didn't want to go to the battlefield without any support. So I sat the whole morning in my ship waiting for any sign of life in the comm. So I explored the Vulture a bit. Although it's made by Core Dynamics and was, as expected, quite filthy. However it does its job and works perfectly.
I decided to unwrap the plans for my FSD and had a comm talk with Felicity. She told me everything, what I needed and how much of it. So I terminated my way too lazy morning and lifted off to get some chemical processors. Apparently you can find them in post-combat regions, ergo I had to look out for unknown signal sources. Luckily my ship computer showed me the grade of threat in these areas, so I wouldn't accidentally jump in to a big battlefield and be wrecked in seconds.
After some sobering results I finally found a abandoned ship with three canisters of chemical processors. Inebriated by success I jumped in another signal source, without checking the grade of threat before.
The outcome was me trying to flee from a pirate with only 35 percent hull left. I made it seemingly.
Soaked with sweats I rushed to the station in Orom Djugua and as I wanted to calm down with a tart 'Braben's Best Booze', I got a comm call, it was Ringeck. I sprinted to dock 32 and hopped in my seat, being just a bit loaded. As I had left the station, Ringeck said he would take a break and would go to a club in Tjalalang. I was cruising around, when Flobias called me. He advised me to go to a resource extraction site, he would come after me. Resource extraction site. I heard these words seeing a flashback of terrible things.
It was better this time. Doing things while knowing it's for the empire is good.
But don't expect me to describe my acts in detail. Any kind of aggressive negotiations are arduous.
Yet for the empire, it's worth it.
