Despite of what was initially the supposed restart of mutual diplomatic relations quickly went southwards. New Republic of Draguan Nu initially withdrew from cooperation with FIB in regard to Neo-Marlinists and Jupiter Division as response to outrageous measures of surveillance introduced by President Zachary Hudson's administration. However, in response to the newest arrest within Federation, New Republic issued an indefinite hold on civilian immigration and business flights from any Federal systems into Draguan Nu, aside of ships holding adequate permits - such as the New Republican, the allied ships or these belonging to the affiliated independent contractors.
The most prominent figurehead of the New Republic, General Maite Snider, noted:
"Draguan Nu cannot support politicians who invigilate its own citizens, taking away their rights to privacy for the security. It is not like Federal citizens decided upon it - Federal Congress did, and not even in its full agreement. Felicia Winters stands against such practices, so does her Liberal Party. And a few newspaper across entire Federation that called out such practices as an outright assault on liberty."
General Snider also delivered an ultimatum: either the Federal Congress withdraws the bill and push into second review or Federation and its corporations shall not find place in Draguan Nu. Should it not get fulfilled by April 30th, New Republic shall cut diplomatic relations with Federation and expel its representatives from its borders without further ado, in exclusion to the most vital and affiliated allies.
New Republic also put on hold the reprivatization of Core Dynamics assets in Draguan Nu, as well as extended the Core Dynamics ban to issue the official representatives within the system. The latter has been in power for several months already ever since Core-Lakon hostile takeover, later exposed as Jupiter Division's illegal operation.
The Federal Embassy on Reightler Dock stays closed, officially still under investigation by Interpol and NR-Sec in regard to Jupiter Division.
