New Chapter?

I guess I had it coming. They killed Eliano right on our own station. I shouldn't have withdraw from the petty bounty hunter and enforcer career just because of the past events. I still can't believe they destroyed my Nuclear Ghandi, too. Fuckers. I just finished all the legal papers in order to get that my ship as my own, instead of being one of the New Republican Navy ships. We are running our own investigation to get 100% sure who would plant a bomb to that ship, let alone have a damn access to the dry docks. At least it was secured in the hangar, so it didn't send all the remains all over the cupola. But quite a few people, still, died. I'm glad none of the Carusos were at the scene. The fact it was between the mechanics' shift also saved a lot of lives. I know that the ship can be easily replaced by Pilots Federation -- but it won't be the same Ghandi.
I... I got the credentials over Eliano's private Mamba and I'm working on it. I am still not sure what name should I give it, because his death is still a very fresh wound. We need to prepare, because General Snider says something about retaliation. I don't know if she's right, but let's face it: our system is thorn in an eye of Federation. All the evidence leads into suspicion if was someone from Federal space, an organization or a private entrepreneur. Ironically, seeing how Sirius Security wanted to stay neutral but I guess something broke in their ranks, too.
While the Bloodbound Harvest investigation is still pending, NR-Sec already declared the perpetrators could have fled into HIP 5687. Until this time I really disliked how slow they worked around their stuff but this... I guess it is very personal to them. They lost a years-long leader, with some early bird just in temporary charge at the moment. NR-Sec wants blood.
I don't blame them. I liked Eliano, despite our initial crash when we two met. Now... it's sad to have him gone, but at least he was righteous and uncorrupted by political powerplay. I'm afraid the new NR-Sec might not stand to his legacy, but, who knows?
I am up to believe into the Federation being involved. I don't care. Whoever it was -- they shall regret it soon.
